Stage 1 of the Balor Multisport Race begins in the picturesque seaside village of Dunfanaghy, setting the stage for an epic day of adventure. This 7km loop takes competitors through the Lurgabrack Nature Reserve, offering a challenging yet scenic route. The course features a mix of terrain, a sealed road takes you to forest paths and onto the sand dunes with some moderate elevation gains before descending towards Tramór beach.
Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views, including Tory island and the Seven Sisters mountain range before reaching TA1 at The Bridge, St. Michaels GAA ground.
